Our team successfully completed the design and installation of a bespoke steel mesh edge protection system on a complex curved roof structure in Switzerland. The project involved precise planning, engineering assessment, and on-site adaptation to meet stringent European safety standards while maintaining the architectural integrity of the building/location.

The location undulating geometry posed a significant challenge, requiring the development of a flexible installation sequence. We implemented the COMBISAFE® edge protection system utilizing high-strength steel mesh barriers with adjustable posts and specialized base attachments designed to accommodate the varying curvature. Each fixing point was carefully aligned to ensure optimal load transfer while maintaining consistent height and alignment throughout.
To achieve a seamless contour match, custom mounting brackets and height-adjustable components were used, allowing the safety barrier to follow the continuous wave profile. Detailed pre-installation surveys and alignment checks were done by our engineers that ensured precision and minimized on-site modification.
Throughout the process, our team maintained rigorous safety and quality control, ensuring the installation met both client specifications and regulatory requirements. The completed system provides a durable, high-visibility protective barrier that exemplifies our technical expertise in complex architectural safety installations.
